The conditions of a natural cellar for 50 bottles

The EuroCave La Première S wine cooler recreates the essential conditions of a natural cellar: stable temperature, suitable humidity, fresh air and protection from light and vibration. With 50 bottles and a height of 96 cm, it brings the same rigour to a compact format, suited to a kitchen, living room or study. Like every EuroCave wine cooler, it is designed and made in France.

A stable temperature for ageing

Its single zone is adjustable between 6 and 18 °C, with 12 °C as the recommended temperature for optimal ageing: at a constant temperature, wine evolves slowly and steadily. The compressor with mixed-air circulation distributes the cold evenly, so every bottle is kept in the same conditions.

Humidity, air and light under control

A clay-ball cassette helps maintain suitable humidity so corks keep their elasticity, and the activated carbon filter clears the air inside of odours that could reach the wine through the cork. The black-framed glass door has a UV treatment that protects the bottles from light, one of the most harmful factors for ageing.

Beech shelves and reduced vibration

Its 3 beech wood shelves (model AEPHU1) are multifunctional, sliding and highly resistant: they make it easy to store, pull out and present the bottles. The wood and the anti-vibration system limit vibration, which disturbs the wine's rest and its evolution in the bottle.

Control, lighting and security

The digital control panel, with a black display and touch keys, allows precise temperature setting. A visual alarm warns of any malfunction and defrosting is automatic. The soft white light, with 2 LEDs and ON/OFF switch, is positioned to highlight the bottles without affecting their properties. The integrated double-action lock and central locking keep the collection secure.

Freestanding installation

La Première is a freestanding wine cooler with 2 adjustable feet for levelling. Its black cabinet, with an HPL (high-pressure laminate) exterior, aluminium interior and 59 mm injected polyurethane foam insulation, supports thermal stability and fits discreetly into a living room, dining room, tasting room or restaurant.
