Shipping times
We display the estimated shipping time on each product page. Check it before placing your order, as it may vary depending on the brand, model or stock availability.
In the "Shipping & Returns" section of the product page, you’ll find the approximate delivery time.
So why do we say “approximate”?
Because transport isn’t magic, and sometimes things happen that are beyond our control: traffic, unforeseen events... If there’s any delay, we do everything we can to speed things up and keep you informed. And if you notice something before we do, please let us know so we can solve it with you.
The shipping time starts counting on the same day you place the order if it is completed before 1:00 p.m. If it’s after that time, it starts the next day. If you place your order on a Friday or the day before a holiday after 1:00 p.m., the countdown starts on Monday or the next business day. Weekends and holidays don’t count.
This is because carriers prepare shipments in the afternoon and need a cut-off time at 1:00 p.m. to organize everything.
Our products are usually delicate, fragile and sometimes heavy — not just a regular parcel. Even so, for most brands, delivery is made within 24/48 hours if you order before 1:00 p.m.
If you are unsure about the delivery time, or if it’s a gift with a specific date, ask us via chat or email us at info@vinoteca.es before placing your order.
Tracking my shipment
Between 6 and 48 hours after placing your order, we will send you an email (or it will appear in your account) with a tracking link to follow the shipment on the carrier’s website, or the carrier’s name and phone number along with the tracking reference.
Since some wine coolers are large, we sometimes use specialised transport companies, not standard parcel services. That’s why we provide you with the phone number and tracking reference: you can contact them directly, or you can contact us. There may be delivery issues, such as nobody being home or an unclear address, and you might be able to resolve it faster than we can. If you need us to step in, email us at info@vinoteca.es or pedidos@vinoteca.es with your order number and a short explanation so we can resolve it together.
Email is usually more practical: everything stays written down, we can follow it up properly, and we reply quickly. Thanks for helping us with this.
Checking the condition of the goods
When your product arrives, inspect it carefully to make sure it has no dents or visible signs of damage. You have 24 working hours to notify us if something arrived damaged. After that time, the transport insurance no longer covers it, so please don’t forget. Email us at info@vinoteca.es or pedidos@vinoteca.es with your order number and photos of the damage so we can speed up the process.
If it’s a gift and you won’t be opening it right away, don’t wait until the day you give it to check the box.
This applies only to visible damage. If you notify us within 24 hours, we’ll replace it without any problem. As for functionality, no worries: you have a 3-year warranty.
Delivery of large and heavy products or to upper floors without a lift
Carriers do not carry wine coolers up stairs if there is no lift. They are heavy, large and fragile, and we want them to arrive in perfect condition. If you live in a place like this or there are stairs, please let us know in advance or be ready to arrange help. We can quote an extra cost for additional assistance if you notify us on time.
Installation
We do not install the products we ship. Except for built-in column wine coolers, almost all just need to be plugged in. However, if it’s a compressor model, wait 12 hours before switching it on — it’s important!
Where to install your wine cooler
Inside closed kitchen units
- Under-counter models are 15, 30, 45 or 60 cm wide, and between 82 and 89 cm tall.
- Built-in models fit perfectly there because they ventilate through a lower front grille. All of them are compressor-based.
- Tall fridge-type models (up to 190 cm) also have a front grille.
- Note: to align with the furniture, the depth should be up to 60–65 cm.
Thermoelectric wine coolers
Do not install them inside closed spaces: they won’t ventilate properly, they won’t cool and they will get damaged. The warranty does not cover improper installation.
Non-built-in compressor wine coolers
You can place them inside a space, but leave 7–10 cm free at the top and back so they can breathe. Due to their height, medium-sized models usually don’t fit under a worktop, except built-in ones.
Column-type wine coolers
Built-in column coolers do not have a front grille. In a properly designed kitchen, the column has space behind it to allow hot air to rise (like a chimney). If it doesn’t, leave 7–10 cm at the top and add a grille that matches the furniture.

Requesting an invoice
During checkout, you can enter a billing address different from the shipping address. You can also add your company name and tax ID (NIF/CIF) so they appear on the invoice.
If you’ve already placed your order and want to request an invoice, email us at info@vinoteca.es with your order number, purchase date and, if you didn’t provide them during checkout, your full billing details.
Once we receive your request, we’ll email the invoice to you as soon as possible.
Orders placed before October 15, 2025
Due to the update and redesign of our online store, you may not see your old orders in your customer account. Don’t worry: all the information is still available.

- Enter your email address (the same one used when placing your order).
- You’ll receive a secure access email with a link valid for a few minutes.
- Click the link and you’ll enter your private account area without needing to remember a password.
From your account, you’ll be able to view your orders, addresses and other purchase-related information.
