Design, materials and craftsmanship

At the top rests the Soft Machine® Dandy, a special edition crafted from stainless steel, brass and acetate, with warm brown reflections that play delicately with the light. The gold hot-stamped L’Atelier du Vin lettering adds a precious finishing touch.

Its elegant curve forms a comma, as if marking the pause within a tasting ritual. Assembled and finished by hand, it includes a foil cutter and bottle opener. Once the lever is placed on the neck of the bottle, the ingenious gear system engages to extract the cork smoothly in a single, effortless movement. A unique mechanism and patented design by L’Atelier du Vin.

At the bottom lies the chrome champagne cork opener, an oenological curiosity with an unexpectedly original opening mechanism. Simply position the jaw around the cork and rotate the handle while gently applying pressure with the thumb or index finger. The cork releases with remarkable ease, without popping off, and remains safely inside the opener. A secure and precise way to open champagne bottles without losing a single drop.
