The La Sommelière CLASSIC240 wine cooler is designed to age wines in conditions similar to those of a natural cellar. Its electronic control maintains a precise temperature between 5 and 20 ºC, humidity is regulated between 50 and 80 % and the anti-vibration system prevents disturbances that could affect the wine's development.

With room for 237 Bordeaux-type 75 cl bottles, it is the largest-capacity version of the CLASSIC range and a solution designed for collectors who need space for their current wines and future purchases.

A protective showcase for your finest wines

The door features tempered triple glazing with anti-UV treatment and Low-E glass, protecting the bottles from light and ultraviolet rays while still displaying the collection. Cool white LED interior lighting highlights the labels and can be left on permanently.

The lock and child lock keep the contents secure at all times, and alarms warn of an open door, temperature variations, carbon filter replacement or loss of WiFi connection.

Remote control with the Vinotag® app

Thanks to its remote control function, the CLASSIC240 is managed from the Vinotag® app: temperature and lighting can be adjusted remotely and at any time from your smartphone. The temperature memory keeps your settings.

Optimised storage with wooden shelves

The seven natural wood shelves are ergonomic and removable, designed for 75 cl Bordeaux bottles and adaptable to the way each collection is organised. The wood gives a traditional look and helps absorb vibrations.

Cooling is provided by an inverter compressor with ventilated cooling, which distributes air evenly throughout the interior. The FILTRE5 active carbon filter purifies the air and helps prevent odours.

• How many bottles actually fit? The capacity of 237 bottles is calculated according to the EN62552 standard with traditional 75 cl Bordeaux bottles and the seven-shelf configuration. Other bottle formats or additional shelves reduce the capacity.
• Can it be locked? Yes. The CLASSIC240 has a lock to protect the collection, as well as a child lock.
• Is it suitable for a cool room such as a garage or basement? Its SN/ST climate class allows ambient temperatures from 10 to 38 ºC. Correct operation is not guaranteed outside that range.
• Can it be built into a cabinet? No. The La Sommelière CLASSIC240 is intended for freestanding installation only and must never be built in or integrated into furniture.
