Built-in wine coolers are those that can be placed inside a closed space as they have front ventilation.
They are the most suitable when we want to install them in a standard space in a kitchen, normally 60 wide x 60 deep, which is the standard for kitchen appliances.
At vinoteca.es we sell different models of built-in wine coolers, but the best thing is to call us at +34 917 37 91 25 when you want to install a wine cooler in your kitchen and we will be able to advise you on the model that best suits your needs and budget.
There's one thing you should know: any wine cooler with a compressor is built-in. Those with a compressor that aren't in the "built-in" category can be installed in a closed space as long as there's room at the back for the hot air to escape.
If you have enough space behind you, but there's an obstacle above, it's enough to keep it at least 10 cm from the top of the wine cooler. You can cover this space with a grid if you consider it aesthetically pleasing. Built-in wine coolers don't require any space above the wine cooler.
Those that are not built-in are thermoelectric wine coolers or hybrids like the LS16 or LS28 from La Sommelière. These types of wine coolers require a minimum of 10 cm of surrounding space to function properly.
