Payment Methods

In the shopping process you have three payment options to choose from:

1. Credit card payment: VISA or Mastercard, through our CaixaBank payment gateway.

The payment system integrated in our store has a maximum security level; entitled ‘security holder’ fraud, it covers every possibility through the CaixaBank bank. The security level is maximum, which requires the cardholder to input their security code (CVV Code).

A non-transferable code, which ensures the operation carried out in the system, will be paid only into the www.vinoteca.es account.

Once the data has been verified, the payment is charged online, in real time, via the payment gateway through the financial institution corresponding to your card. This way, your sensitive data is transmitted directly and encrypted (SSL) to the corresponding financial institution. The SSL encryption system integrated into www.vinoteca.es offers total security, during the online payment transmission. You can rest assured that your details remain confidential and protected.
At no time do we record your credit card data within our database, or any other. The information is used only during the point of purchase through our TPV (Point of Sale Terminal), our virtual payment system, which forms part of our secure payment gateway.
All credit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation from the card issuer. Should a situation occur where the card issuer declines the payment, www.vinoteca.es is not responsible for any delay or failure to deliver and unless another form of payment can be supplied, we will be unable to realise your order.
If your card does not have a three digit CVV code, we recommend you consider using Paypal as your payment option. Paypal do allow card payments without having to enter the CVV code.

2. Paypal Payment:

Through Paypal’s secure gateway you can pay with a credit card, Visa or Mastercard. When you come to the end of the checkout process on www.vinoteca.es you will be redirected to a secure Paypal page, to finalise the payment with your credit card. Paypal is the global leader in internet-based payments and has the ability to send and receive payments online securely and conveniently.

3. Bank Transfer: This form of payment is realised by making a deposit directly into our account. The transfer must be for the total cost of the order, including delivery, to the following bank account:

Please note: when making the bank transfer you should specify the order number within the ‘concept’ field. If you make an order and opt to pay by bank transfer, your order will remain in effect for 15 days, after which time, if no payment has been received, the order will be cancelled.

Your order will be processed as soon as we have receipt in our bank of the transfer. You should also send proof of the transfer by email to: [email protected].

If you make a bank transfer using a CaixaBank account, or make a direct deposit into our account in any CaixaBank branch, then it is not necessary to send us a proof of your payment, but you must still indicate the order number in the concept field.
